The History of Croxley Farm
Robertson is situated in the shadow of the majestic Langeberg Mountains in the Western Cape, South Africa. With over 150 years of history Robertson has grown into one of the most attractive Cape Wineland towns. With its many Victorian buildings, jacaranda-lined streets and lush gardens Robertson is quaint as it is beautiful.
Croxley Farm is located at the entrance to the De Hoop Valley. We have the luxury of beautiful crisp mountain water as our main source of water for the farm which flows off the Langeberg mountains. These water rights date back to 1906 when the origninal farm was sub-divided.
The small vineyard on the farm is the Colombar varietal which is known for its use as the base wine in Brandy distilling. Robertson has become well known as an award winning Wine region as well as some incredible Cap Classique varietals originating from this beautiful valley.
The gardens of Croxley Farm have been a labour of love with more than 150 trees have been planted since 2014.
